It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ken Rankin, with family by his side. Ken will be greatly missed by his son Robert, sister Wendy, nephew Shane (Cathie) and niece Kelly (Erin). Predeceased by his parents, Ian and Florence and brothers Douglas and Fraser.

Ken held a variety of jobs but his most interesting was as a limousine driver for politicians, business and sports team owners and celebrities. Ken earned repeat business with his fares by researching them to engaging them in conversations. That was typical of Ken's dedication to a job he loved.

Although Ken spent the majority of his life in Toronto, his heart belonged to his hometown of Port Morien, Cape Breton. His ties there were strong right up to his death. He made many trips back home and communicated regularly with old friends, mostly on Facebook. Ken will be brought home in the near future and reunited with his family.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Neweduk-Erin Mills Chapel on Saturday February 8, 2025, at from 2-3pm with the service at 3pm.

Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada would be most appreciated.
