Kelly Michele Hiscock, beloved daughter, sister, niece and friend left this world on Friday July 1, 2022 after encountering a sudden brief illness.

Kelly was born in Saskatoon SK on January 9, 1963, as the much-loved daughter of Donna (nee Hall-deceased) and Wm. Blaine Hiscock. She was the little sister to her big brother, Steve and learned her sock pitching skills from him. Kelly was a force even though she had many challenges getting started on milestones, she overcame most becoming the beautiful and whole person so many of us knew. Kelly did things on her own terms, experienced almost no difficulty with self esteem and fully expected to be loved. She was so very deeply Loved. Kelly had her own style that made others smile. Kelly was a presence, a faithful and loyal companion to many she lived with over the years and befriended. She never spoke a word but found amazing creative ways to communicate her affection and what delighted her in this world. Kelly found joy in the things most overlook. She laughed easily, often at the dropping, breaking or tossing of objects or someone sneezing. She laughed at simply being outdoors at night, bumpy car rides or overhead planes. She had lots of fun playing tricks on people especially if they were unsuspecting and found great amusement in her own jokes. Kelly had many life experiences that were challenging physically and emotionally. She was also very clear about what displeased her—pain, conflict, trying to eat and drink (a lifelong battle. She always demonstrated perseverance and determination to overcome what life presented her with. Kelly was one of the most authentic people to know and so many of us are grateful to have had the opportunity to know her vibrancy and joy. Rest in Peace.


Memorial Celebration of Life gathering will take place at a later date. In memoriam donations would be appreciated to the ongoing work of Community Living Mississauga.
