Kathy died unexpectedly from cancer on Friday, November 22, 2019 at the age of 70, joining her beloved husband, Joe. She was the warm, loving and fun mother of Jeanie (Gord Rand), Dawn (Tim Burton) and David Harvey (Avia Peacock); proud Baba of Hugo, Jeremy, Zeph, Anouk, Honor, Charles, Sadie and Hugh; and step-grandma of Meghan, Matthew, Jenna and Archie. She will be deeply missed by her sister, Dawn; her brother-in-law Frank; her 16 nieces and nephews; her Calleja sisters, Mary (Mike), Sylvia (Gerry and the late John) and Brenda (the late James); and the Orpwood clan. She will also leave a wine-glass-shaped hole in her extended circle of friends, particularly in Toronto, at Oak Lake and in Florida. Special thanks to Leanne Evans and Heather Zulak.
