So very sorry to hear about Kathy’s passing. I’ll remember her upbeat nature and friendly smile as she popped over to say hello to my parents and later, as we visited on your cottage deck or dock. She always had news of her beloved kids and grandchildren and the comings and goings on the Bay. I can picture her clearly sitting in a lounger on the dock with Doug reading and watching the sunset - an image of her I’ll store in my memory. Your family had so many happy times up north. I hope these memories give you some comfort in the days ahead. Love Shelley and Rick
I was saddened to read about Kathy’s passing. During my career in child care services in Barrie, I had many contacts with Kathy over the years. She was a wonderful friend - always smiling and positive. She will certainly be missed by so many! My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this sad time.
We are truly shocked and saddened by this news. Kathy was a great lady, friend and neighbour who we will miss here and the visits in Florida. Our condolences to Barker and his boys and their families.
My heartfelt sympathy to Doug and family on the passing of Kathy. We volunteered together for many years. I admired Kathy for her energy and knowledge. So sorry to have lost touch the last few years. We had a lot of fun together. I know how much her family meant to her, and you will all miss her dearly.
Blessings to all,
Ruth Keffer
I am so sorry to hear of Kathy's passing. We did exercise together at Vic Village & also at East Bayfield. In Barrie. We had a lot of good chats & good laughs. I always enjoyed her company.
