Katherine Titsch Yager (Kay, Katy) - born in The Bronx, NYC, on April 9th, 1929, passed away in Brampton, Ont on July 13th, 2018 in her 90th year with family by her side. Mom is predeceased by her oldest son Andy (Lise), and survived by Ron (Linda), Brian (Jane), Nancy (Wolfgang) and Tom (Jan) as well as 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her. Mom lived a full life in both Montreal and Mississauga. She was an avid photographer at any party she attended and loved nothing more than her subjects requesting a copy of her pictures, which she obliged readily. Mom was a past-president of the Catholic Women’s League at St Gregory Parish in Etobicoke and continued attending the CWL at St Martin of Tours Parish. Visitation will be on Monday July 23rd, 2018 from 4 to 8 pm at Turner and Porter Neweduk Chapel, 1981 Dundas St West, Mississauga. Funeral mass will be at St Martin of Tours Church at 1290 McBride Ave, Mississauga at 10 am on Tuesday July 24th, 2018. Burial will be in Montreal at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges cemetery with her parents and brother. Donations to a charity which she strongly supported would be much appreciated - Sleeping Children Around the World www.scaw.org. Our thanks to the staff at Extendicare Brampton who made her final months comfortable

Remembering early childhood memories in Montreal with the Titsch family and the closeness our two families shared. I remember you and your family always involved in doing good work with the German Catholic Church (St. Boniface in Montreal). Condolences to the entire family(beautiful picture as I remembered her).
