It was a pleasure to meet and talk regularly for years with both Katie and Gerhard when I took my dog to walk in the shade of the Oakwood Cemetery with its beautiful large trees. We discussed a variety of their life experiences and their joy at the peace that they enjoyed moving to their condo in Simcoe.
My deepest sympathy on Katie's passing. They were an amazing couple.
Warmly
Pat

Katie was a combination for us of sometimes mother, older sister and a fabulous friend. She was a beautiful soul and will be missed for eternity. As Katie would always say when she was done with whatever she was doing, "That's it!"
