In her 100th year, with great sadness, Katarzyna passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Toronto on June 3, 2025. She is predeceased by her husband Michael Augustyn (1978). She was the loving mother of Tadek (2007), Jozef, Jozefa, and Teresa (2001). Most recently, she was the mother-in-law to Peter and loving motherly figure to her grandchildren, Mark (Lindsay) and Michael (Michelle). She was also the dear grandmother to Radek, Agnieska, and Rafel.

She will forever be remembered as a kind and loving matriarch who always put her family first.

The family will receive loved ones at Turner & Porter, Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga, ON, L5B 1M8, on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 7pm to 9pm.

The Funeral mass will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, at St. Casimir’s Church, 156 Roncesvalles Avenue, Toronto, ON, M6R 2L4 at 10am.

Interment to follow at St. John’s Dixie Cemetery, 737 Dundas Street East, Mississauga, ON, L4Y 2B5.
