Karl Verdnik

October 28, 1941 - August 1, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Karl Verdnik on August 1, 2024, at the age of 82.

Beloved husband of Ana for 57 years. Loving father to Karl Jr., Ana (David) and Joey (Sandy). Cherished Grandpa to Nathan, Elizabeth and Christine. He will also be deeply missed by his remaining family and friends in Slovenia.

Karl will be remembered for his hard work, generous heart and devotion to his family. He enjoyed spending time with his wife working outdoors in the garden and sitting under the gazebo enjoying the view. He loved watching the birds, especially the hummingbirds, and waiting for the rabbits to visit.

Karl will be in our hearts always and forever.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., (Hwy 10 N. of the QEW) Mississauga, on Friday August 9, from 4 - 8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Roman Catholic Church, 739 Browns Line (S. of Evan's Ave.), Etobicoke, on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 10 am. Interment Assumption Cemetery.
