In Celebration of

Karin Colbalchini

January 15, 1948 -  April 17, 2017

With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Karin Colbalchini, aged 69, who left us too early, surrounded by family, on April 17, 2017. Beloved wife of Orfeo. Most cherished mom of Robert (Ulrike) and Sandy (Alen) and loving step-mom to Denny (Cassie) and Rob. Dearest Oma to Haley, Lena and Celine and sweet Omi to William and Grace. Adored sister of Guido and Heidi. Treasured sister Ilona is waiting in Heaven. She will be lovingly remembered by the rest of her family and caring friends. She was a superb cook and caretaker of all. Her sense of humor will be terribly missed.

In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations to Dorothy Ley Hospice would be greatly appreciated. Visitation to occur at Turner & Porter (Peel Chapter), 2180 Hurontario St. on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Celebration of Life Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, April 24 at 11 am, with reception to follow.

I have known Karen for many years my son Alen was lucky enough to get to Sandy Karen unfortunately shocked us all with this awful departure . But going over the years we have laughed a lot .Had our momentsโ€‹ lol and also at Haley's dancing we have been caught by sandy giggling at the toddler who unlike Haley who have entertained us . By the way, she started it lol Mike and Karen have entertained us at family gatherings with fantastic food and playing that dice game with lots of laughter doing it we will miss you Karen more than you know. I imagine you are with Ilona and mum and dad now catching them all up .Rest in peace my friend ๐Ÿ’”๐ŸŒท๐Ÿ’ž

Karin, you are a very special person who had lots to give. I will always remember the good times we had travelling with the band and doing gigs. You will be sorely missed.
