In Celebration of

Karen Van Luven

October 2, 1965 -  March 2, 2020

Karen passed away tragically on Monday March 2, 2020 as a result of advanced stage ALS. The beloved daughter of Ruth Van Luven and the late Fred Van Luven, and sister to George Van Luven. Adored mother of Victoria Ansell, and the late Eric William Carroll, and treasured mother-in-law to Jeffery Ansell.

Karen brought so much joy to every life she touched. Her genuine smile and contagious laughter are very familiar to anyone who knew her. She possessed a kindness and generosity beyond compare. She was passionate about her family, friends, the arts, and travelling the world. Every life she touched was blessed and she will be missed more than words can describe.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W. (between Kipling and Islington Aves.) on Saturday, March 14, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. until service time in the chapel at 3:00 p.m.

For those who wish donations may be made to the ALS Society in her memory at the following link: http://support.alsevents.ca/KarenVanLuven
