It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of June McCabe, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. June passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Mississauga Hospital, surrounded by love.

She was the devoted wife of the late Peter McCabe and the loving mother of Penny McCabe, Robert McCabe, Jacqui Mulligan (husband Bob Mulligan), Kevin McCabe (wife MaryAnn McCabe), and Ian McCabe (wife Trudy McCabe). June was also a proud grandmother to Tim, Ryan, Cameron, Peter, Nora, and Daniella, and a cherished great-grandmother to Rose, Robin, Clay, and Henry.

Born and raised in England, June’s early life was marked by both resilience and strength, growing up during World War II and facing the profound loss of her sister, Yvonne. She is also predeceased by her brothers, Todd and John.

In 1958, June and Peter embarked on a new journey, moving to Canada, where they built a loving home however, she remained ever true to her British roots.

June’s life was defined by her unwavering love for her family and her deep faith. She will be remembered for her kindness, warmth and the strength of her spirit. Her love and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A small service for family and close friends will be held to honor and celebrate June’s life on Saturday, March 22, 2025 (visitation Friday, March 21, 2025).
