June Marie (nee Hanna) Lewis

April 25, 1920 - June 9, 2021

Passed away peacefully at the Beechwood Retirement Home at the age of 101. Predeceased by her husband Leonard William. Loving mother to daughters Sharon (LeRoy) of Etobicoke and Diane (Bruce) of Owen Sound. A private family service will be held. Interment at Streetsville Cemetery, Mississauga. If desired, donations may be made to the Trillium Health Centre Foundation or to a charity of choice. Thanks to the staff at Beechwood and Community Services for their special care of a very special lady. With love to Mom, who always put family first.

What a wonderful neighbour! June always had a smile and welcomed us when we moved in next door to her and Len. She loved seeing our children, Jonathan & Stephanie playing in the yard.

Sharon and Diane. What memories come to mind when we read of your Mom’s passing. We have many thoughts of both your parents. We first met them when we came to visit our new home at 29 Crendon, still under construction and got stuck in the mud! That would be over 60+ years ago. We last saw your Mom at Norma Rices funeral. She was helping out in the kitchen and invited me to go see your Dad at their house which I did. If you want please send an email to us and we can all catch up.
