It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Julie Anne Tung after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, February 14, 2020, at the age of 54.

Julie is survived by her loving husband Dan Terrane and cherished daughter Jessica Terrane. A beloved daughter of Hein York Tung and Sun Moon Tung. Adored daughter-in-law to Frank Terrane and the late Margaret Terrane. Cherished sister of Lynda Tung-Zbozny (Bob) and Robert Tung (Lindy). Fond sister-in-law to Angie (Ken), Linda (Roy), and Brenda (Harold).

Julie was a passionate and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She will be remembered fondly by her many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Julie touched so many lives and will never be forgotten. She will forever be missed for her kind, compassionate, and bubbly personality. Her infectious laugh will live on forever.

Julie was a devoted Toronto Maple Leafs hockey fan, had a love for knitting, and was famous for her tiramisu and chocolate squares recipes.

We would like to thank the staff from the Palliative and Oncology ward at Credit Valley Hospital and the team at LHIN Homecare Services. The loving support and care that you gave Julie was extraordinary. We would also like to give special thanks to Dr. M. Sharma. Your on-going dedication and care, words of encouragement and hope will always be remembered.

If desired, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Julie.

This was very sad news to me. Last time I talked to Dan and Julie she was cheerful and full of hope.
Tracey and Julie were cousins and good friends growing up. Tracey, my wife 52 years old passed away May 13, 2019 from a sarcoma cancer.

They are playing together again, angels in the clouds.

Julie was a beautiful person, a great mother and wife. She was pleasure to be around and she will be deeply missed by family and friends.

Dear Julie,
You are a very rare and a very special person who does not come along very often and so many of us have been so lucky to know you. I will cherish our friendship that we have had over all these years ...30 plus. I am so heartbroken that you are gone. I am going to miss writing letters to you but especially reading yours. You were the most kind and warm-hearted person with a special sense of humour and I can still hear your laugh. You leave us with a legacy of courage , strength and devotion to your daughter, Jessica.
We will all miss you so very much and you will live on in our hearts forever
