My deepest condolences to her dearest friend Ann and family and to Julia;s family near and far. She was taken from us too soon with so much life still left to live. I will miss our daily walks, her gentle and caring heart and lunches at the Club. Rest in peace Julia and may your soul sail forever in eternity.

My heartfelt condolences to Ann and Julia’s family for this unexpected loss. May God grant you strength and solace during this most difficult time. Julia was not only my neighbour but a friend. From the day we met when she moved in next door we clicked. We found out we had something in common, she was from Cochrane and my uncle lived in Cochrane for many years. As good neighbours do we looked out for each other. It was comforting knowing she was next door because I could always count on her. She was a kind, smart, very capable lady. We chatted outside almost daily about so many things, work, books, TV shows, our condo community. I will truly miss Julia and I still can’t believe she’s gone. May her memory be a blessing. Rest In Peace Julia.

Rest in Peace Julia!

Thank you for all the help you provided me over the years at EYC in reminding me what not to forget so I didn't have to pay fine.

You were always kind to me and always made my day better after our conversation!

My sympathies to all friends and family!

So sorry to hear of Julia 's passing. Condolescences to her friends and family. Given her recent retirement from EYC we were shocked to hear and was not aware that she may have been ill. She was always a happy, helpful and knowledgeable face at EYC's office. Retirement should be a valued time to remember fond moments with family. She was taken too early and we are saddened by the news. Gratefully,
Don and Maureen

Julia and I met the first day of Kindergarten and stayed close friends until she left for boarding school in grade nine. Our lives moved on without each other or much contact, despite our teenage promises, the way life tends to do. Thanks to technology we reconnected a few years ago. We were able to connect in person for brunch a while ago when I was visiting family in Toronto and the years melted away as we sat reminiscing in that restaurant booth and then tea at her apartment. We kept in touch and I saw her again at her brother’s recent internment. Again we shared stories and enjoyed our time together despite the circumstances. On the promise of getting together at her next trip to Cochrane we hugged goodbye. If only I’d known it would be our last hug, I would have held her more tightly. ❤️
