Josip Pleš was born on August 1, 1942 and passed away on December 19, 2024. He was born in Čamerovac, a village in Croatia.

Josip was the beloved husband of Jelena for 58 years, devoted father to Millan (Lorraine), Whitney (Angelica), Katey (Frank). Josip was the deeply loved Dida (Grandfather) to Luka (Shelby), Matthew, Aaron, Joseph and Katija. He was the cherished Great Grandfather to Lordyn and Ganon.

Josip loved spending time at the cottage with his family and friends.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the caregivers at Cooksville Care Centre with special thanks to the compassionate team in the behavioural unit including Richard, Christian, Jennie, Sonia, Caesaria, Irene, Jovie and to the countless others who devoted their time to Josip's care.

Our heartfelt condolences to you Jelena, Millan, Withney, Kathy and families on the loss of your loved one. Words cannot express how saddened we are to learn of Josep's loss. Please take your time and remember that he is now enjoying his new home with our Heavenly Father. He is now praying for you from heaven! Remember We are all here for you. We are firm believers that when we lose someone close to us, they continue to live on through us and gives us unbelievable strength. They’re so connected to us that they become a part of us. Remeber also that our thoughts are with all of you at this difficult time. He will always be in our prayers. May God grant him eternal peace and may the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Rest in peace dear friend.
