Josephine Del Duca

October 16, 1929 -  January 2, 2023


It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Josie Del Duca on January 2, 2023 at the age of 93.

She was adored by everyone who knew her, especially her beloved husband of 71 years, Joe, and her children Bernie (Christine) and Linda Mainelli (Tony).

Cherished by her grandchildren Nicole (Dan), Mario (Ashley), and Matthew. Beloved by her greatgrandchildren Anthony and Alyssa.

Loving sister of Tina (Frank) and Marianne (Frank).

We were so fortunate to have the most amazing caregivers in Catherine and Jen. Their dedication and kindness was unwavering. “Mamma” loved them very much.

Josie was a central figure in our lives and a star in our eyes. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Auntie Josie was a light in my life. She was the kindest, gentlest, most loving of mamas. From the moment that I met her at the age of 15, she embraced me as a daughter. She taught me so much about love and being loved.

The times that I spent with Linda and her family, being embraced by the Del Duca clan, are imprinted on my heart as some of the most treasured memories of my teenaged years.

Her energy and light will not be forgotten but will live on in her family.

Love you always, Auntie Josie...
