I met Wanda when I first came to Toronto and we have remained friends since. I remember when she met Joe, she was head over heels in love with him and it became obvious they were going to spend their lives together. This was truly a love relationship.
Dearest Laura; I am so heartbroken for you. You are an amazing daughter, as you did your out most for your dad as well as you continue for your mom. Your father has left behind many cherished memories for you and your family. He truly was blessed with a beautiful life. Until we are all together again, it will be one heck of a reunion when we are all with our family and friends gone before us.
A Celtic Blessing
Deep peace of the running wave to you,
Deep peace of the flowing air to you,
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you,
Deep peace of the shining stars to you,
Deep peace of the Son of Peace to you.
May the road rise to meet you;
May the wind be always at your back;
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
May the rains fall softly upon your fields.
Until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.

So sorry about the loss of my Uncle Joe. I still remember the wedding day in 1969, I was 13 years old and Joe became Uncle Joe, He was 6'-7". That was 50 years ago. We all spent many many days at our cottages together, playing cards, swimming, and even before becoming Uncle Joe, he and Aunt Wanda would babysit Joan and me when my parents went out, mostly new years eve. Many Christmas dinners, birthdays and other special days!
He gave me driving lessons a few times and showed me how to draw cartoons.
I was always amazed at how he could play almost any instrument he touched, especially the piano, all by ear. I don't think he could even read sheet music? He played the piano, accordion, mouth organ, harmonica, guitar, even a cello and violin!! I think I remember even a trumpet?
He also had the ability to crack everyone up just by saying silly things and he loved to talk about everything and anything.
We will miss you!!!
