Over my 29 years at Loomis and DHL I got to know Joe well. He was a kind hearted man and was always a great person to talk to. I gave up work just before he retired and moved back to my hometown of fogo island. When I heard the news was so sad because he wanted to enjoy his retirement with family and friends. Joe may you rest in peace my friend.

“Hey Joe, it’s hard to say goodbye, but I know that you always held a special place in our hearts. We will miss our chats, our laughed and all the memories we’ve made. Because you were all that and then some, you will never be forgotten. May the angels surround us and spread the comfort during this time

Joe was a wonderful person and I will always remember the generosity and kindness he always showed to others.

Last thought….

Goodbyes are not forever, are not the end; it simply means we will miss you until we meet again.
