In Celebration of

Jorgen (Gordon) Larsen

June 22, 1931 - December 14, 2025


Jorgen (Gordon) Larsen passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025, surrounded by family, at the age of 94.

Gordon, as everyone knew him, predeceased by his father Martin, his brother Robert and his mother Mimi Rasmussen.

Gordon shared a beautiful marriage of over 71 years to his beloved Rosemary (nee Hollaman). Loving father of Gord (Linda) Jane (Barry Sangster), Nancy Hageman (Cal), David (Phil Sharp). Proud Grandfather of Sean Cauterman (Mimi), Sherry Warne (Tim), Kari Sangster (Brent), Ashley McKeown (Shawn) Scot Sangster (Christine) Amanda Larsen, Robert Larsen. Proud Great Grandfather of Kody, Jackson, Layla, Tihana, Ivy, Kira, Scarlett, Dominic.

Gordon was a hard worker and took over his Dad’s bookbinding company, Martin Bookbinding Limited when he was 16 years old. He developed it into a successful business with many loyal customers and employees. His work ethic carried over to his family and the many students he employed over the years.

Gord and Rosemary were longtime residents of Etobicoke where they raised their four children. He enjoyed fishing in Algonquin Park with his brother, son, grandson and friends. He enjoyed cottage life at Halls Lake and Ross Lake and sailing at Mimico Cruising Club.
