In Celebration of

Jordana Jagros

January 25, 1925 -  August 4, 2023

Passed away peacefully at 2:15PM on August 4, 2023, at 98 years of age. She is now reunited
with her beloved husband, Constantine (Kostas) Jagros (1994) and her much loved mother and
father. She was the beloved Mother of Tina Jagros (late husband Hamish Wells) and Lynda
Jagros-May (Philip May). She was the doting Grandmother of Dana and Philip (PJ) May.
Dana was born in Athens, Greece. She met her husband of 52 years in the village of Iropegia
during WWII. They were engaged for seven years throughout his tenure in the military and his
establishment of a textile business. They left Greece to immigrate to Canada as part of their
honeymoon. Throughout their many years together she built a beautiful home for her husband
and children. She was a consummate cook who loved to entertain friends and family. She was a
generous person who shared her skills and knowledge with her daughters and friends.
She worked steadfastly next to her husband in their business, Kingsway Furs Ltd. She devoted
her talent and skills as a professional seamstress and pattern maker to make their company one
of the preeminent firms in Toronto.
After the passing of Kostas, she made many new friends through her membership and
involvement at the Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church. Her faith played an important part in
her life. She was a loyal and supportive friend to many.
There will be no visitation as per her wishes. The funeral service will be held at the Prophet Elias
Greek Orthodox Church, 1785 Matheson Blvd in Mississauga. The burial service will take place
at Park Lawn Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of
Dana to be given to the Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church would be sincerely appreciated
by the family.
