After a courageous 14-year battle with concussion-related mental illness - Jordan, our beloved son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin, grandson and friend, has gone home to the arms of our loving God.
Jordan will be deeply missed by his parents Mary and Jim, big brother Ryan (Maggie), little brother Chris (Lily), nephews Will and Colin, Grandma Betty, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Heartfelt appreciation to Jordan’s uncles / Godparents Paul (Bassel) and David for their never- ending love and support. Special thanks to Jordan’s “nurse” Judy whose care and compassion were a constant source of comfort. We are also deeply grateful to all who have messaged their support during this difficult time.
Jordan lived life with genuine compassion for others. He had a happy-go-lucky attitude and could capture an audience with his infectious smile and laughter.
Jordan was a talented artist, graduating from Connecticut College with a major in Architecture and minor in Art. At the same time Jordan played 4 years of NCAA hockey with the Camels. A gifted all-around athlete, especially hockey and lacrosse. His hockey skills and skating ability made him a joy to watch.
Jordan was also an accomplished musician, playing the piano, saxophone, and guitar – mostly by ear composing songs “his way”.
Please join us on Saturday June 21, 2025, for a Celebration of Jordan’s life from 12 to 3 pm at the Vic Johnston Arena in the Hazel McCallion Hall. Prior to this Jordan will be interred at the Streetsville Cemetery beside his loving Grandparents Irene and Jim Gray.
To help others like Jordan, please consider donating to the Scott Mission or the Salvation Army.
We take comfort in knowing that Jordan’s battle is over and he has found lasting peace in the embrace of God. Jordan, you will be forever missed and you will always be remembered with love and laughter. Rest in peace, dear Jordan. We love you.
Mathew 11:28 – Jesus said “Come to me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest”.
