John Reginald Emerson Wright
March 15, 1933 – November 19, 2021

It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we share the passing of our father John Wright, at Trillium Hospital on Friday, November 19, 2021, in his 88th year.
John was predeceased by Ann, his beloved wife of 61 years, in 2020. He was a kind and loving father of David (late Nora), Elaine (Steven) and Sharon and will be missed by his many nephews and nieces, in Canada, Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland, his friends and his church family at Graceview Presbyterian Church.

He was a longtime member of Runnymede and Graceview Presbyterian Church families serving over the years as treasurer and member of their Board of Managers.

Throughout his life, John's priority was providing for his family. Family vacations were of great importance to John leaving us with many fond memories of happy times together. In retirement John and Ann made numerous trips to the United Kingdom to visit the old familiar places of their youth, and maintain their ongoing close relationship with extended family there.

We want to thank Stephanie and Debbie for their home care support.

Cremation has already taken place. There will be a funeral service held at Graceview Presbyterian Church, 588 Renforth Drive, Etobicoke, on Wednesday, December 1, 2020 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations may be made to either the Kidney Foundation or to the charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to the Turner & Porter.
