Many of John's friends, colleagues and students at North Albion C.I. were deeply saddened upon the news of his passing. He was a lovely friend, an entertaining colleague and a fierce competitor on the tennis court. RIP JR.

My Dearest John,
It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye. I loved you deeply and I valued our 35 year friendship. John the world will never be the same without your brilliant wit, your curious mind, and that glorious smile. We are all better people for having shared your life. My soul aches, you will be missed. My condolences to Sharon, Brian, Robyn, and Leah, and to all who loved him. Rest in Peace Sweet Prince.

I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. I have very fond memories of spending many a weekend in high school, playing pool on the oversized pool table, skating, a few beers etc. An all world smile and laugh.
Farewell my friend.
