I have very few people in my life who really had my back and John is at the top of the list. I will miss him dearly. His sense of humour was parallel to my own. His wisdom was unmatched and he had the best stories to tell. God bless his family and Maureen I am truly sorry for your loss because it really is a tragedy.
With Love

When one of his co-workers thinks of John many things come to mind and one of those is his Mustang. We all loved his car too and he knew it. He could sense I was wanting to drive it so one day out of the blue he pulled me aside and said he had a special assignment for me. Eager to please I said no problem and grabbed my notebook. He said to leave it behind because I wouldn't need it and threw me the keys to the car. I couldn't hide my ear to ear slime. John said "there is a problem with the rear tires I think there is a slow air leak". He asked me to drive to the gas station, check the tire pressure and top up the air "Oh yah" he then passed me $10.00 "get yourself a coffee and me a hot chocolate on your way back, see what Andrew wants too". I got to the gas station and there was nothing wrong with the tires, it was all a ruse because he knew I would never ask him to drive the car. When I got back with his drink he asked me if it needed air I said a bit yes, he smiled and thanked me. Until he retired he would occasionally throw me the keys just before lunch and say check the air for me on your way back from lunch.
