In Celebration of

John Edward Binions

March 8, 1956 -  April 2, 2021

Passed away at home in Mississauga, on Friday April 2, 2021, at the age of 65. Beloved son of the late William and Doreen (nee Patey) Binions. Loving brother of Wendy (Mark) Stebbing and awesome uncle to Jack, Scott and Glenn. Adored by his extended family, wide circle of friends and former co-workers at Air Canada. John followed his own path through life as he pursued his love of music and travel. He was a kind, generous soul who had a tie for every occasion. His sense of humour was legendary.

A public celebration of life to be held at a later date. If desired, donations may be made to Musicounts or Trillium Health Partners.

John was a wonderful brother-in-law, a fantastic brother to Wendy and an incredibly kind and generous uncle to Jack, Scott and Glenn. He loved his family, his music and travel and was one of the kindest souls I have known. The world has one less super Beatles fan but perhaps he can see John Lennon giving a concert up there in the sky…

So sad to hear of this. John was an amazingly decent man, whose generosity of spirit never ceased to amaze me. My first trip to Japan could never have happened if it weren't for his (martial arts) friendship and giving nature. And, yes, John's sense of humour was wonderfully absurd. Will miss him dearly. R.I.P., my friend.

John was a true gentleman in every sense of the word. He always made time for his friends and family. He was a caring man who would give the shirt off his back. He was always there for you in good and bad times. He would always make you laugh. You will be so very missed. Take care.

Such a shock to hear of John's death. A great guy with a positive outlook on life. His ties are legendary. I would have loved to hear him play some tunes. My condolences to his sister Wendy and her family. He will be missed.

John was an extremely kind and gentle soul. We often talked about retirement and about our Dads. He always had a kind word to say and his laugh was contagious. He will be greatly missed by many !!!
