John & I played football together for about 30 years he was a very talented player and always kept fit even later in life. When I lived in Mississauga and on visits there we often got together at Abbey Road Pub or at the football field. He visited me here in Nanaimo when ever he was out west visiting his daughters. I will miss him and his smile. A life well lived and a great guy and friend.
Condolences to Mary, Ryan and his girls and grans.
My wife ( Maureen) and i so enjoyed Johns stories about his travels and exploits
He was an amazing man to the end
He will surely be missed
Condolences to the family.

To Ryan and all the Dornan family ~ My thoughts are with you ~ wishing you peace and comfort during this time of great sadness.
John and I were best friends for a long time, we worked for many years. in the same office and played in the same football team.I remember when he stayed over at my house so that we could go to the midnight bowling at Queens Park..
My condolences to Mary who I hope to meet on Monday.

Uncle Johnny, as we knew you here. What a character we'll remember you as. Always exercising, even when it was inappropriate. I remember you once doing press ups in a tent in Glencoe at 6am as a warm up for a run you were going... while the rest of us nursed a hangover from a traditional Scottish night out.
You'll be sadly missed by all your family but the get together with your Brothers somewhere round a camp fire will be legendary, I'm sure. Say hi to them for me please.
To my extended family in Canada, our thoughts are with you guys today. Love to all.
