In Celebration of

John David Beaumont

May 1, 1958 -  September 18, 2020

We are saddened to announce the passing of our brother and uncle, John David Beaumont, at the all too young age of 62.

Dave or John, depending on when you met him, was a man with an incredible memory of all the details of his and his family’s lives. We will miss him filling in all the gaps that the rest of his family had developed in their own memories.

From his early working days at Hewlett Shell through his later work at Speedy Brake and Clutch and others, he had developed an exceptional understanding of the automotive world.

Predeceased by his parents Doug and Betty and his younger brother Dean, he will be sorely missed by his brothers Bob and Glenn, his sisters-in-law, Cyndy and Lori, his nephews, Brent, Jeff, David, Dean and Adam, his nieces Carly and Sara and his great nieces Kyla and Elizabeth and the rest of his extended family.

If desired, donations can be made to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation at www.cpff.ca

Private funeral service.

I am very sorry to hear of David's passing. Even though I had not seen Dave in many years I am saddened to see him pass at such a young age. My warm memories of David through our 'hockey years' with Dave, Glenn and Bob have come rushing back to me. Dave was always nice to me, and protected me well when we were road hockey team mates. Those were the best days. Rest in peace David. You are fondly remembered. To the entire Beaumont family, may the outpouring of support help to somehow assuage your loss. Very sincerely yours, Perry Catena

Bones: The day I met you my life changed forever, for the better!! No matter what was going on you were always there for me. If you look in the dictionary for TRUE FRIEND your picture will appear. Although my heart is broken whenever I think of you a smile will always appear remembering all times we shared good and bad. Pilot Dave Beaumont you have now earned your wings!!. Bones this is not goodbye as you will always be in my heart. I love you my brother from another mother.

Beaumont Family,
My deepest condolences on the passing of David. I was lucky enough to meet David while he lived at Port Credit Residences and our friendship continued after he moved out. He was a lovely man and he will be greatly missed by many. He taught me to play both billiards and darts, two hobbies that I still continue with. I will miss hearing about how sunny Florida is while I am freezing up here in Canada.
All my best,
Justine Beard

To Bob, Glenn and family,
I have many fond memories of David even though he thought I was a much younger pain in the butt when we spent our summers together in KL. He was a young teenager and I was still a kid. He threw me in the lake at Aunt Dorothy’s cottage and stuffed me in the closet at 75 Tower. But once we were grown up, David was always interested in catching up and never missed a family picnic. Family was so important to David and he was so proud of both of his brothers. We also had a wonderful time in Florida with him. He took Mom and I on a dinner cruise and was a very gracious host. We are all going to miss David but we will treasure and take comfort in such beautiful memories. Sending you all our love at this very sad time. Xxoo Karen and family

I was blessed to meet Dave (aka Bones) through my bother Joe Raymond. I can't remember a time that Bones was not a part of my entire family's life. Bones was not only my brother's best friend, he was family. I remember so many family gatherings in which Bones was an integral part. I have such fond memories in which he would quietly sit enjoying his beers and take in the commotion around him. He was very attuned to the energy of the room and when you least expected it, he would bomb us with his "point on", perfectly timed humour delivered with such precision you would laugh until the tears streamed down your face. Car problems? No problem...call Bones and he will set you up...I can't tell you how many times he keep me on the road. Always willing to help in any way he could. I don't think the word NO was in his vocabulary. This world has lost a bright star and as much as he will be missed, everyone who was blessed to have him touch their lives will forever walk with a little glow. Love and light Bones, forever in our hearts we love you!!!
