So sad to have lost you so early, Joe. Although we lost regular contact over the years we reconnected at the Erindale get-togethers like it was only yesterday we saw each other. I will miss seeing you and laughing with you and enjoying your music. So glad you were able to pursue your passion and bring joy to others.

Joe, you were a wonderful musicial inspiration to so many.... your legacy will live on forever.
You gave me so much support and advice over the years.... thanks for saving me at my gig last week! I’ll treasure that memory forever.... God just gained the best trumpet player for his horn section, sadly our loss. Love, Kat

A sad day for the community indeed. Joe will be remembered for many years to come as a big hearted guy who loved his music and played well.

Regret we’re unable to attend the funeral. Joe was a great guy and a great musician/vocalist, admired and respected by all. Our condolences to the family and to all the musicians who got to play with Joe, I share your loss.
