February 2, 1941 - March 11, 2018

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at the age of 77. Beloved husband of the late Maria. Much loved father of Durval (Rita), Delia (Tony), Rita, Helen (Alfie) and John (Connie). Cherished grandfather of Michael, Mark, Nicholas, Lucas, Jonathan, Nathan, Jenessa and Matteo. Joao will be lovingly remembered by his sisters Albertina, Elvira, Maria De Anjos, and Rosarinha.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy 10 N. of Q.E.W) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Cristo Rei Roman Catholic Church, 3495 Confederation Pkwy, Mississauga on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 9:30 am. Interment at Assumption Catholic Cemetery.

If desired, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
