In Celebration of

Joanne Sherritt

April 23, 1943 -  September 3, 2022

Passed away suddenly at home, on Friday, September 3, 2022 at the age of 79. Beloved wife of Ron for 48 years. Loving mother of Jason. Cherished by her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and all her nieces, nephews, colleagues, and friends.

Joanna was an exceptional wife and mom who valued her family above all. Born in Toronto, her career in banking spanned over 40 years. She fed her family with all her favourite Ukrainian foods of her childhood, as well as all her love. She was creative, musical, artistic, and crafty, a beautiful person who built a beautiful home. She enjoyed her summers at Georgian Bay. Her family will think of her every time they hear the theme from “The Young and the Restless,” as she never missed an episode! Her fun-loving spirit and sparkling smile made an impact on everyone she met. She will be dearly missed.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas Street West, on Tuesday, September 6 from 4-8 p.m., and Wednesday, September 7, 2022 from 12-1:30 p.m. Graveside Service will take place at Park Lawn Cemetery.

Joanne, so sad to hear of your passing you will be missed for sure. It was a pleasure working with you at the bank, I learned so much from you. My family enjoyed our times together at your cottage and at your home. You where always so welcoming,
Ryan and Jessica loved going over to “Jova’s” house, “your backyard was amazing and we loved going to the creek with Ron to look for frogs” is what they still say today.

Rest In Peace my friend❤️🙏
