My sincerest condolences to Joanne's husband Peter, her children Lennon and Kelsey and her parents Fred and Hilda. Your wife and mother was special. Saying goodbye to Joanne was never something I had considered because it isn't suppose to happen this way. She was a lovely person who in fact led a remarkable life. I have the fondest memories of the special time I lived with Joanne, Fred and Hilda and from that time always considered Jo as my little sister. When we crossed paths every once in a while, that special feeling welled up in me immediately. She possessed a wonderful sense of humor and an unbounding curiousity. Life will never be as whole for me and her loved ones with Jo's passing.

Jo was just THE BEST host. From the moment you arrived at Barbados airport she was there….Cold Banks in hand! When she was up she was certainly up!

To me I will always think of Jo as the centre of the party and up for a good time. The times we were fortunate to spend with her in Barbados were some of the most memorable. She always took us in like her own, made us feel welcome and organised the most thoughtful trips. I’m grateful to have known and spent time with her. My thoughts go to Peter, Lennon, Kelsey, Laura and other family and friends for their loss.
