Peacefully on June 8 at St Joseph’s Health Centre, Toronto. Joan was born in York, England and came to Canada as a war bride. Predeceased by her husband Wayne Linton in 1956, and her husband Ron George in 2003. She leaves behind her children Valorie (Barry), Janet (Neil), Greg, Doug (Judith), five granddaughters and five great grandchildren. A Funeral will be held at Runnymede United Church, Toronto later this summer. Interment this fall at St Mark-Ocean Park Anglican Church, Surrey, BC.
