It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Joan Sinclair, dearly loved mother of
Stormy-Margaret Patchett (dec) and Andrew McConnell; and beloved wife of John (Jack)
McConnell (dec).

Growing up in Australia she moved to Canada in her early 20s and lived in Toronto for close to sixty years. In Toronto she was an involved member of her Church, All Saints Kingsway, and an active member of the Royal Canadian Yacht Club where she helped with the race committee, lawn bowled, and played bridge.

Joan was a special soul who managed to touch the hearts of many around the world with her energy, empathy, and earnest communication. She will be sorely missed and her soul will live on in the hearts of friends and family.

Joan’s family and friends will celebrate her life with a service and reception to be held at All Saints Anglican Church, 2850 Bloor Street West, Toronto, on the 7th of May at 15:00.
