In Celebration of
Jennifer D'Costa
July 27, 1952 -
August 16, 2021
It is with heavy hearts that we share with you that our sister, Jennifer passed away, peacefully in her sleep on Monday, August 16, 2021, at the Trillium Health Partners, Mississauga Hospital. Her journey during her recent illness was one of courage and acceptance of the Holy will of our Lord.
She is survived by her mother, Maria Vindelina; sister Anna D’Lima (husband Frank RIP), brother James D’Costa, and sisters Milla Rauterberg (husband John), Florence, and Juliet D'Costa; as well as nieces: Vanessa, Natasha, and Marie; nephew Gabriel; great nephews: William, Edward, Rayhaan, and Benjamin; and great nieces Sophia, Avery and baby Petra.
Jenny enjoyed life, loved singing, music, reading, playing squash in her younger days, baking and travelling. She enjoyed singing with the St. Martin of Tours Parish choir for many years.
Jenny loved attending spiritual retreats at Marylake, King City. She was part of the adoration group at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church for over two decades. She also loved visiting churches and chapels across Canada and the U.S.
Jenny worked in an administrative capacity for many years at Sears, the OPP, Desjardins and other shorter durations until her retirement a few years ago.
Words cannot express our deep sorrow at the loss of Jenny. We will love and miss her forever and her goodness will always remain in our hearts.
A special thank you to Trillium Health Partners for the care and comfort they provided for Jennifer. Our grateful thanks to Turner & Porter for making all the funeral arrangements with tranquility and grace.
Donations may be made to Trillium Health Partners-Mississauga Site, ShareLife, or a charity of choice.
