In Celebration of

Jeffrey John Killins

October 15, 1973 -  October 31, 2020

Passed away peacefully, at home, on Saturday, October 31, 2020, at the age of 47.

Jeffrey “Jeff” Killins was born in Calgary, Alberta on October 15th, 1973 to David and Suzanne Killins. From the day he was born, Jeff had a way of impacting every soul who had the privilege of meeting him. His positive outlook and welcoming personality never ceased to amaze anyone who encountered him.

Jeff was blessed to be surrounded by people who loved him very much. He was part of a large family and survived by his parents, Dave and Suzanne, a sister Michelle and her partner Dennis and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who treasured the moments they got to spend with Jeff and his infectious personality. Jeff was also very fortunate to be loved by a second family in Joddie and Bradley and their extended family.

For someone who loved his routine, Jeff was never bored, as his many diverse interests kept him and everyone around him on their toes. Whether it was Jeff’s love of all animals, his desire to capture his friends and family on film through his photography skills, his powerlifting prowess, his knowledge and passion for good old fashioned rock and roll, his artistic painting endeavours, or his keen interest in anything that went fast on land or water (frozen or not), Jeff’s life was never dull.

Jeff touched every soul he ever encountered and left us all with everlasting memories. He will be missed.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Community Living Mississauga, an organization that was critical in supporting Jeff throughout his life .

A private Funeral Mass will be held.

Jeff was an original, and a much-loved guy. He had the best sense of humour going. During one of his life skills' classes, he was asked to wash and dry a coffee carafe. He promptly put it in the dryer and turned it on. I am still laughing at that joke -- one of many! We will miss you every day, Jeff!

I wanted to extend my deepest condolences to the entire Killins family, Jody and Bradley. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time.
Although I only had the privilege of meeting Jeff a dozen times, his smile and warm nature was radiating. He was charming and caring and was loved by so many. I use to love coming over and hearing about all his adventures. Jeff, you will be truly missed. Heaven has gained another angel.
