It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jeanette Dodson on April 18, 2025. Jeanette passed away peacefully after a brief illness, on Good Friday, with her son and daughter by her side. She was 87.

Jeanette was blessed with many talents, as a successful artist and decorator with an amazing creativity for making many things more beautiful. She was intelligent and well-read and had a great sense of style, with a love for art, theatre, music, flowers and spending time in her garden. Cooking and traveling with her friends and family brought her immense joy. Jeanette had a great affection for her pets, and her most cherished moments were the times spent together with her large family at home. She was known for her kindness, strength and generosity, and will be most remembered for the love she had for her family, friends, and neighbours. Jeanette will be profoundly missed by everyone who knew her, she touched the lives of many.

We send our deepest sympathies to the family during this difficult time. We have only wonderful memories of time spent over the years with Jeanette. Be it in Hawaii for a Fairmont incentive trip to the wedding of Leslie and Mike, Jeanette always had a warm and caring personality. May she rest in peace.

It was only after Angela's passing that I really connect with Jeanette. I heard about her for many years and knew how talented she was. I really enjoyed getting to know Jeanette in the following years. She shared many stories of her son and daughter, and her grands, and of course Jesse. She will be missed.

Jeanette will be missed! She was so funny and so caring, such a good friend to my mom Irene. What a history they had together. Amazing and generous cook. I will remember the time I spent with her with love in my heart and a smile my face.
