In Celebration of

Jean Suski

November 26, 1923 -  April 2, 2021

It is with great sadness that Jean Suski passed away peacefully in her 97th year, on April 2, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Stanislaw Suski. Jean was predeceased by her parents, brothers, sisters, and brother-in-law. She will be dearly missed by her sister-in-law Barbara Suski, nephew Lucjan Zabicki and his wife Lodzia. Jean will be lovingly remembered by her many extended family members and friends in both Poland and Canada. Special thanks to Diane and Elizabeth who cared for Jean in her final years.

Born on November 26, 1923 in Wlodzimierz, Poland, Jean survived the war years in Germany by working as a translator. She came to Canada with her husband in 1949, where she worked long hard hours to establish a new life. Jean was an active member at her church, joining the Marian Sodality and then the Seniors’ Club later in life. Jean loved bingo, a good game of cards and trips to the casino with her friends!

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 from 5-6:30p.m. at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel (2357 Bloor St. West). The funeral mass will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church at 11a.m. Interment to follow at Park Lawn Cemetery. COVID restrictions apply at all locations.
