In Celebration of

Jean Oliver (nee Mehlenbacher)

May 22, 1930 -  July 16, 2023

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 16, 2023. She was 93 years old.
Beloved wife of John (predeceased). Loving mother to Christine, Mark (predeceased), and Craig (Anna). Adored grandmother of Ashley (Daniel) and Jesse (Bridgette).
Cherished great-grandmother ("Nan") to her great-grandchildren, Daxton, Zayne, Cruz, and Jayce. Jean was the last of seven siblings, all born in Hagersville, ON.
She will be fondly remembered for her insurmountable love for her family and generosity towards others. She had a love for music, concertgoing, and playing cards with family and friends. In the words of her favorite artist,

Willy Nelson:

"Someday when we meet up yonder... we'll stroll hand in hand again... in a land that knows no parting."

Sympathy to all the family. We will miss her - our visits to McDonalds, our poker games, and her welcoming smiles whenever we visited.

Love and miss you Aunt Jean.

I was saddened to read Craig’s post that Jean had passed away. Mrs. Oliver was truly a kind and soft-spoken lady. I will always remember her smile and patience with us growing up, and of course her quiet and wonderful sense of humour. She was always supportive and non-judgmental. My heartfelt condolences to family and loved ones. God bless.
