July 5, 1936 -  July 4, 2024

Peacefully, at home on July 4th, 2024, a day before his 88th birthday.

Born July 5th 1936, in the village of Terka in Lisko County, Subcarpathian Voivodship, on ancestral Ukrainian territories.

A proud Ukrainian patriot, he strived all his life to promote and preserve Ukrainian culture and identity.

Devoted husband to Nadia, to whom he was married for 58 years, and loving father to Tamara, Eva and Wolodymyr.

He leaves behind a grieving immediate and extended family in Canada, Poland and Ukraine.

May his memory be eternal.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., on Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Elias the Prophet Ukrainian Catholic Church, 10193 Heritage Rd., Brampton, on Thursday July 11, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Elias Cemetery.
