Adrianne, Dennis, Ivan and family my deepest condolences to the loss of your father. I have fond and fun memories of him and your mom, together again after so long. Playing tennis, hosting parties and opening their home. He was a lion heart and left his mark with everyone. I won't forget his jokes and big hugs. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.

Janko,
You were such a good friend to me. You were very good to me and to my mother Veronica. I miss our conversations and your counsel. I miss arguing with you. You had very strong opinions, we did not always agree but the mutual respect was there. I miss visiting you mostly for those unique conversations. You were such a generous man and the stories were never ending. Your humor was amusing and not always appropriate but somehow your sneaky laugh you could just get away with it and you knew it. You were a true gentleman. Your life experience and work ethic were so robust and you were a phenomenal resource. I learned so much from you. I admired your strength and will to work through anything. I loved everything Croatian as you were that to me. I am grateful for the short time you were in my life, I am grateful I visited you in Croatia, I am grateful you let me into your heart and I will forever miss our friendship. I wish I had the opportunity to say goodbye properly but I am glad I told you I loved you the last time we saw each other and I hope you continue to watch over us, your loved ones just as you did when you blessed us with your presence. Thank you Janko, I love you and I miss you.
