In Celebration of

Janet Kimberly Allison

April 14, 1961 -  September 7, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Janet Allison. She passed away on September 7, 2023 in her home at the age of 62. She was born on April 14, 1961 to Edna and James Allison. She was a proud mother of 4 children, Tiffany, Leroy, Richard and Chantelle and grandmother of 6 grandchildren, Jayda, Brayden, Maliyah, Noah, Brielle and Dakota. A sister to siblings Cheryl, Pat, Kathy, Joe and Bob.

Family was important to our mom, she always put everyone before herself. Our mom was such a loving, caring and kind hearted person, who always saw the best in everyone and was always willing to help others in any way she could.

Our mom loved her animals dearly, Candy and Smokey. She also loved sewing and gardening. Something others may not know about our mother, is that she was a “handy women”. I honestly feel there wasn’t anything she could not fix. We always knew not to throw anything out that was broken before consulting with her and seeing if she could fix it first.

We know that she will take great comfort in being laid to rest beside her mother, Edna Allison.

We were so sorry to hear of Janet’s sudden passing. We really hadn’t seen each other in many years. I do have many childhood memories of family get togethers with the Allison family. A lovely picture of Janet. May she rest peacefully.
