Jane was the strongest, most compassionate role model I was blessed to have had.
Gone but never forgotten, I owe so much of who I am now to you Jane.

Jane was a warm and caring nurse who was loved and appreciated by many. We were always grateful to her niece Elaine who often was her guest at our Annual Dinner. It allowed Jane to participate for many years after her retirement from Women's College Hospital.

My sincerest condolences to her family and friends she has left behind.

So sorry to learn of the passing of Miss Cusler. She was an amazing Head Nurse that I had the pleasure of working with @ Women’s College Hospital. My mother who was a patient on the 7th floor where Miss Cusler was in charge was so taken by her care that she presented a special gift when she was discharged ,a scarf I believe. A truly exceptional nurse and human being.

Miss Cusler was our Head Nurse on 7th floor at WCH and a great role model. After graduating, three or four of us chose to work on her surgical floor and I believe she was the best employer I ever had. She was positive, supportive, a guiding light, informative and such a privilege to work under. Her staff for my two years on her floor worked as a team and I believe because of that and under her guidance, served our patients and the community well. When requesting a certain date off schedule, it was always granted as she knew no one took advantage in that role. In reflection, she was a wonderful roll model of what a caring, competent registered nurse should be. She will always be fondly remembered by many of her students and those who worked under her!
