We are so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. We have wonderful memories of such a wonderful person.
Jim was a big man with a big heart. Part of his being a big man was from the "sticky buns" freshly out of the oven that were consumed while helping install an air conditioner at the manse on Monaghan Circle. But is was Jim's BIG HEART that made Jim the man that he he was. As a newly ordained minister coming to our first charge it was Jim who both formally and informally made us feel welcome and at home as we had many a visit at his home on then Cherry Post...#236... I knew and know very well how to get there! Our now adult children remember very well swimming in the Cherry Post pool with the Garde children and Sharon baby sitting regarding her as the best baby sitter in the world. Our condolences to all of you.
In HIS love,
Wayne and Cathy
My thoughts and prayers go out to Dianne and her family.
Remembering the tales of travel
Fondly remembering Uncle Jim's laughter, tales of travel & family...and where to buy THE BEST corned beef.
