Survived by her three children Scott, Gregg and Kristin. Jackie loved so many things but to her, family came first.
Born Jacqueline Noreen Rose in Peterborough Ontario, November 30, 1932 Jackie was schooled and raised there where she later became a successful draftsperson, thanks to the engineering training at General Electric and further experience at Salem Engineering.
Following a career move to Toronto , Jackie met Ralph and became engaged. As a married couple they travelled extensively. And later , a family followed Scott, Gregg and Kristin. Jackie loved cooking, fashion fitness and golf, her favourite outdoor sport.
Jackie is survived by her four grandchildren ; Zoe and Alexa , Cameron and Kendra who reside in San Diego.
Although separated since 1998, Jackie and Ralph maintained a mutually respectful and cordial relationship ended only by her passing.
Jackie died Sunday October 2nd of pneumonia and complications from dementia at the age of 89.
A special thanks to her family and friends especially her daughter Kristin who aided in Jackie’s care during her battle with Dementia. Jackie's radiant smile and good nature will be sorely missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
Friends may call at the Turner & Porter ‘Neweduk’ Chapel, 1981 Dundas Street West, Mississauga), on Thursday October 6, 2022 from 4-8p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ignatius Loyola Church, 2300 Burnhamthorpe Rd W, Mississauga, on Friday October 7, 2022 at 11am. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Health Centre.
