In Celebration of

Jacqueline Irene (née Rosskopf) Esselmont

August 5, 1943 -  November 24, 2024

Known to her friends as Jackie and to her beloved Bob as “Skip,” Jacqueline Irene Esselmont was cherished by all who knew her. She passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital at 2:20 AM on November 24, 2024.

Jackie will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered for the countless cherished memories she created for her children, grandchildren, and all who had the privilege of calling her family or friend.

She was a devoted mother to Rob, Kim, and Kelly, and is survived by Rob and Nick and their family: Megan (Steve and baby Hannah), Sydney (Sam), Anna, and Stas, Kim and Paul and their family: Victoria, Jacob, and Natasha, Kelly and Joe and their family: Brendan and Damian.

Born in Transcona, Manitoba, Jackie and Bob shared a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and a wealth of cherished family and friends. While their absence is deeply felt, comfort can be found in knowing that Jackie and Bob are now reunited in Heaven.

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 17, 2025 at 3 pm at Walton Memorial United Church, Oakville to honour Jackie’s life and legacy with all who wish to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jacqueline's name can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Jacki was a special person as she brought optimism in her way of thinking. Even though she had a lot of medical problems she always called on her strong outlook to keep moving forward . She always asked how you were doing. Will miss her calls and our chats of course , with wine for you but not her.
God Bless. She is with her “Bob” now.
