With love and remembrance, we honour the life of JP, a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who had an impact on many lives through generosity, strength, and quick wit. JP died peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, December 23, 2025
JP was predeceased by his parents James (2025) and Marie (2008). He leaves behind his loving wife of 40 years Heidi, children; Marc and Tara, their spouses; Neave and Mike, grandchildren; Arthur, Joshua, and Kate, and brother Robert, to which he was a steady source of wisdom, humour, warmth, and competition on the day’s wordle or crossword puzzle.
JP led a full life. He loved playing golf, science fiction - reading, TV and movies, building models, with his biggest modeling accomplishment having built the Starship Enterprise. JP liked watching hockey and always supported whichever team Connor Brown was on. Every Christmas JP received and completed an elaborate jigsaw puzzle.
JP was very proud of his family. He was always protective and supportive of his wife, children, and grandchildren. It was always important to him to provide for his family and was always ready with advice - solicited or otherwise.
JP was loved very much. His life ended sooner then it should have, but his influence and memory will live on through the lives of his family.
We love you JP, Dad, Grumps(ie)
