Ivica Bosiljevac, age 71, died last week on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, following a brief illness. He will be remembered by all who knew him, as a gentle soul . He will be sorely missed by his beloved daughter, who was the light of his life and constantly in his thoughts, Miriam Bosiljevac and her partner Steven Kukla. He will be fondly remembered by his girlfriend of over 20 years, Maija Svilpis; her sister and brother-in-law Velta and Juris Zvidris; her daughter Sarmite Hickey and her partner Fernando Clavijo; and her girlfriend Rita Illes. He was loved by all who knew him, as well as Maija's parents (now deceased). He will also be mourned by his brother Zdenko Bosiljevac and his wife Milica, as well his nephew Daniel and his wife Dianna. He is survived by Tekla Mirta Bosiljevac. Ivica was a kind and principled man, gone suddenly and way too soon. He enjoyed cooking and baking, solving physics puzzles, improving his chess game and trying to master computer design. May he rest in peace, as he will rest in our hearts.
