Ivan Robic

May 14, 1932 - April 28, 2021

Passed away peacefully at Humber River Hospital, Toronto on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of Katica for 66 years. Devoted father of Carmen Franolic (Nick) and Susan Pichelli. Cherished Deda to Tania Franolic, Edward Franolic and Anthony Pichelli. Loving great-grandfather to Dante Pichelli, Nathan Franolic and Marius Vo Franolic. Ivan will also be dearly missed by many family in Canada, Croatia & the USA. A private family mass will take place. Interment Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

To a wonderful man who I called Stricek Lobo as a little girl, I fondly remember always bringing out the accordian at many family gatherings.

To a man who brought us into song & dance after great meals. To a man who had a smile on his face. To a man who had a quick joke to tell us as we got older (either in Croatian or English). To a man who fully concentrated when playing chess. To a man who always wanted to share his homemade wine & tell you what he would change for next year's batch. To a man devoted to his wife, family & friends. To Stricek Robic you will be missed by all of us - rest in peace & play that wonderful accordian to all those family members in Heaven.
