The family is heartbroken to announce the sudden passing of Ismael Alejandro “Alex” Iwaniuk, on September 1st 2023 as the result of a tragic accident. Beloved son of Antonio and Mirta (née Meza). Much loved brother of Sebastian (Elizabeth Duncan). Adored uncle of Mila, Nolan, and Evelyn. Alex loved traveling, fishing and cooking. He will be sadly missed by his parents, family and friends.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane Subway, on Monday, September 11th from 4-8 pm. Funeral Mass will take place at St. James Parish, 728 Annette St., Toronto, on Tuesday, September 12th at 11am, prior to his repatriation to Argentina for entombment.
