Isaura Tavares Silva passed away peacefully with family by her side, on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Mississauga Hospital at the age of 84. Beloved wife of José Silva (predeceased). Isaura was born December 23, 1939 in Rabo de Peixe, Açores.

Daughter of the late Liborio and Rosa Tavares. Beloved mother of Joe (Carol) Silva, Etelvina (Jason) Brown, Mike (Kim) Silva and Margaret (Roy) Rodrigues. Loving grandmother (vovó) of Laurie (Scott), Joshua (Kristie), Samantha (Paige), Andrea, Hailee (Kyle), Ashley (Tyler), Tyler and Isabel. Cherished great grandmother of Norah, Scotty and Kya. Predeceased by her sister Margarida, brothers Antonio and Fr. Liborio, sister-in-law Maria José and brother-in-law José. Survived by her dear sister Maria da Gloria, brothers José Maria and Paulo (Judite), and sister-in-law Fatima.

Isaura was a devoted and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter “Peel” Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., (Hwy. 10, N of the QEW) on Monday, May 27, 2024 from 3-8 PM. Funeral Mass will be held at the Cristo Rei Parish, 3495 Confederation Pkwy, Mississauga, on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 11 AM.

Interment at Assumption Cemetery.
